It has the potential to decrease sweat and sebaceous gland activity which can be the cause of acne and improves skin texture in the lower face and neck with a lifting effect, providing a glow to the skin, boasting optimal health..

The Micro-Tox with BTXA is treatment is still a relatively new concept here in Australia compared with conventional BTXA treatments for Anti wrinkle, such as frown lines, crows feet and forehead lines ect.  Micro-Tox is very different in a way that enhances skin condition without the frozen look. It has been used for two decades in other countries such as Asia to create the porcelain appearance - known as Glass Skin

This procedure comprises of multiple, smaller injections of diluted BTXA just under the skin, so it mainly targets the skin, not the muscle. Numbing cream is applied to the area for comfort. The effects after the procedure within two weeks creates a nonsurgical facial lifting and skin rejuvenative appearance.

This effect makes the face appear luminous, and usually lasts for 3 months. The multiple needle pricks, volume effect, and fibroblast contraction demonstrates the feeling of  a mini “facelift”.

The product used for this is procedure is Botulinum toxin A (BTXA) is a powerful neurotoxin that inhibits muscle contraction by blocking several neurotransmitters, especially acetylcholine. It is a Clostridium botulinum-generated exotoxin.            It disturbs signal transmission at the neuromuscular and neuroglandular intersection by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine from the presynaptic nerve terminal. Gradually over three to 4 months the fibres regrow back to normal extent and if you wish you can have the procedure repeated.
